Lumbini Lions claim their first NPL victory, defeating Chitwan Rhinos by 33 runs

Under captain Rohit Paudel, Lumbini secured their maiden win in the NPL, posting 167/6 and spinning out Chitwan Rhinos for 134/8. Rohit top‑scored with 80 off 57 balls, and also contributed vital wickets—earning a standout all‑round performance.

Chasing 168, Rhinos struggled to build partnerships, with Abhishek Gautam dismissing top-scorer Luke Benkenstein. Rohit’s part‑time spin also pegged back the chase. The win boosted Lumbini’s morale after four losses in a row.
