Lumbini Lions made headlines by becoming the highest spender at the NPL 2024 auction, investing approximately Rs 84.75 lakh to assemble a star-studded squad. They signed key domestic talents such as Bibek Yadav, Sandeep Jora, Surya Tamang, and Ashutosh Ghiraiya, each for significant sums, reflecting the team’s ambition and financial backing.

Team chairman Ishwar GC conveyed excitement at building a competitive unit anchored by national captain Rohit Paudel.
